Clothing That Helps You Sleep Comfortable
When it comes to sleeping attire, opinions vary greatly. Some people like to be as trussed up as possible, while others prefer to be naked. The preference you've developed over your life is important to keep if it works for you, but if you're having issues staying asleep, you may want to consider all the different types of clothing that might help.
- Sleeping Naked – Sleeping nude is beneficial in many ways. Even studies suggest sleeping naked will help you burn more calories if you keep your room cool due to the body trying to stay warm. There is also good science supporting the notion of airing out your body parts to avoid rashes and other skin discomforts.
- For Night Sweating – If you're a person who tends to start sweating at night due to your lifestyle, age, or illness, you'll feel better if you invest in moisture-wicking sleepwear. Bamboo, cotton, and other fibers help keep the moisture away from your skin. In addition, it can be more comfortable than being nude when you break out in a sweat.
- For Cold Nights – If you get cold easily, it's still good to keep the temperature down in your bedroom while you sleep and invest in wool, fleece, flannel, or silk jammies so you can stay warm but still sleep well in the cool air.
